I step off the drain (just outside SHOP), walking down those steps again. Passed our door (18/19), but you don't work there anymore. It's days since you've been there, and now you've disappeared somewhere.

The Festival of Football Ideas

 

Friday 30th May - Saturday 14th June
7PM - 9PM

We're still organising that football festival: a two-week football literature, art, film and music festival, called the Festival of Football Ideas, and it will be taking place in the big silver football (The At-Bristol Planetarium)!

Bristol Festival of Photography on the Christmas Steps!

 

SATURDAY 3rd MAY

For the 2010 and 2012 Bristol Festival of Photography, the Christmas Steps community organised a street party, called the CSAQ Night of the Year, and this year will be no different.

Though Jayne's in Madrid, and Brett is away this weekend, we've still been helping organise things. And SHOP will be projecting a scene of the 'Spanish Steps' - see what we did there?!

Though a few businesses – who have historically been involved with the event – have moved out the area, there are still some great things happening!

This really fun street party should see the Steps buzzing with photography enthusiasts.  The main events are:

·   photo stills being beamed from various locations

·        the outdoor cinema will return, the natural amphitheatre at the top of the Steps will provide seating on the Steps themselves and the cinema will be screening cult classic Blow Up.

·        Two photography exhibitions can be found at Jenny Life Gallery and Geneva Stop.

·        There will be an outdoor bar and street food provided by Beatroot cafe.
