Okay, so true to our word, here's that excitin' stuff we've been teasing you with these past few months...
The Arts Space and Lounge is a-changing! From July 1st, the Lounge will occupy with whole top floor of SHOP with extra seating and goodies to scoff. The arts space will become a permenant living gallery, called the 'Take It and Leave It Gallery'. The idea is that you take a piece of art from the gallery that you like, and donate a piece in its place. Within the lounge and gallery there will also be an area with art equipment permenantly set up from where you create art works to add to the living gallery on the spot.
For this to work it would be really cool if you could contribute. We need art works. Is there something you made that you don't know what to do with? Well, give it a new lease of life with a new owner, via SHOP - and get something to replace it in return. We also need frames, art tools, paint sets, etc, if any of you would like to donate anything we - and Art - would be very grateful.
But hang on, that's not all, no! - off the back of the huge success of the Secret Cinema (see below for the next one), we are now getting even more secretive, with the introduction of our Secret Raw Food Cafe! See below for further information and ..... sssshhhh! Don't tell anyone!

Some of the old skool SHOP-fans may remember the last time we held the raw cafe ... well, it's back!
Three courses of the most tasty raw food and all for the suggested donation of just £7 per person!
Like the Secret Cinema, you will need to make your reservation via email, as space is limited. You will then receive details of the location and you will also receive the menu for the evening and be asked to choose your dishes.

Did you know that there are nearly 500 million Spanish-speakers in the world? Well, now SHOP is giving you the opportunity to become one of them!
Over four sessions at SHOP you will learn all the esseentials for a Spanish holiday, from how to introduce yourself to booking train tickets, hotels, eating out and asking where the toilets are after one too many cañas.

WORKSHOP: SPEED LANGUAGING
Wednesday June 26th
6pm - 8pm
Following on from two very successful 'Speed Languaging' events
in April and May, we're now got it going on monthly - next one 26th June!
In case you didn't know, the idea is to help non-native English speakers with their English speaking and conversation skills. Non-native speakers are paired up with native speakers and then everyone chats for five minutes on a given subject before the bell rings and we all change around.
If you would like to improve your English, or help others improve theirs, the next session is on the 26th June at 6pm - 8pm in SHOP. Attendance is free, although some people food or drinks to share in the break :-)
